This book tells the story of the perfectly blended main character, Wana; a little girl coming to the realization that she looks different from her mom and dad. She must navigate her life with lots of questions from friends about her vanilla daddy, chocolate mommy and her own caramel skin. She learns to embrace it and to be proud of her beautifully intertwined family.

About the Author

Kathini Naledi Landzela was born in rural Eastern cape (Cala), she is an online English teacher, teaching English as a foreign language to students from various countries. She is currently living in Bloemfontein but would love to move to a coastal area in the Eastern Cape one day.

She loves children and being at home with her family, she also loves travelling and binge watching series. Her first book, “Just the perfect blend”, was inspired by her two nieces.
