“Gentle Creature of my Desire”
Gentle creature of my desire
Curl up against me, I am your fire.
Your heart wails its tiredness out
I am here, tonight we quench your drought.
You are here, enter me within and without
upend me with your love: stars throughout
Your heart’s art and restart my parts.
With gasps, rasps and Whispers of power rare,
Perhaps We can soothe my devilish nightmare.
Hope demands I say, pray and damn near scrape
My way onto the page to ultimately say
(I Love you)
The compilation also has an image gallery of Yah-Weh The Son’s paintings and sculptures which take you even deeper into his psyche as you become enthralled in his world of chaos and order, trauma and tragedy, resilience and rebirth and ultimately the vulnerability of wearing your heart on your sleeve.
